Things move at a slower pace on Sunday as does this days tour. We begin with a short drive to the Ettal Monastery built in 1330. From there we visit a local cheese factory where we will learn more about the production of local cheese before sampling the wide variety ourselves. Following a traditional Bavarian lunch we will visit a local woodcarving shop before heading home. Guests wishing to visit the traditional Garmisch Volksfestival will have an opportunity to do so at the tours conclusion as we return to beautiful Garmisch-Partenkirchen for an easy-going afternoon.
