Extend your adventure with an optional three-night add-on to Iceland, based in vibrant Reykjavík. Enjoy a guided introduction to the capital’s colorful streets, harbor views, and landmark sights, with free time to explore at your own pace. Consider a visit to the Blue Lagoon for some scenic relaxation or maybe a whalea and puffin express cruise The next day, we travel along the dramatic southern coast to experience black-sand beaches, towering sea cliffs, and some of Iceland’s most impressive waterfalls before returning to the city for the night. Our final full day is devoted to the famed Golden Circle, linking geysers, rift valleys, and the thundering Gullfoss waterfall, offering a memorable glimpse into the island’s volcanic power and wild beauty. As our add-on comes to a close, we will have sampled some of Iceland’s most iconic landscapes before continuing the journey home.

Upon conclusion of the main tour, we’ll make our way to Copenhagen Airport for our flight to Keflavík International Airport in Iceland. For this journey, guests can either book their flights independently or choose to join us on a convenient group flight that will be offered once the add-on is confirmed. After we’ve all arrived and regrouped in Iceland, our adventure continues as we set out to discover the vibrant capital city, exploring its unique blend of colourful houses, modern Nordic culture and dramatic coastal scenery.

Day 2 - Iceland’s Southern Coast - Friday, June 26th

Experience the raw beauty of Iceland’s southern coast on a full-day coach tour showcasing the country at its dramatic best. Continuing on, feel the ground gently tremble at the Geysir geothermal area as Strokkur erupts skyward every few minutes, sending steaming water high into the air. The route then leads to magnificent Gullfoss, a thundering, two-tiered waterfall plunging into a rugged canyon, often crowned by rainbows on sunny days. Our whirlwind Icelandic adventure draws to a close with one final morning to soak in the memories of dramatic landscapes, thundering waterfalls and vibrant city life. In the morning, we bid farewell to Reykjavik and transfer to Keflavík International Airport with time to meet North American bound flights. As the coach winds along the volcanic coastline, it’s a last chance to reflect on the sights, stories and friendships shared during this unforgettable add-on tour.

Our scenic summer journey through Scandinavia begins in Bergen, where you’ll wander the historic waterfront and soak in the coastal charm before winding through Norway’s dramatic mountain landscapes toward Oslo. From the capital city, our adventure continues across the border into Sweden, where tranquil forests and lakeside villages reveal a slower pace of life. Following time in the stylish capital of Stockholm, we make our way to the third and final country of the tour with a delightful stay in Copenhagen.
