Following time in the stylish capital of Stockholm, we make our way to the third and final country of the tour with a delightful stay in Copenhagen.

Day 0 - Optional Early Arrival Day - Saturday, June 13th

Arrive in Bergen a day early and ease into your Scandinavian adventure at your own pace. Fly in whenever you’d like and we’ll have a private driver will be waiting to meet you and bring you directly to our comfortable accommodations near the historic harbor. Settle in, relax, and enjoy some free time to explore Bryggen’s colorful wooden warehouses, stroll the waterfront, or sample local cafés before the main tour begins. €495.00 per room with private airport transfer.

Day 1 - Arrival Day - Sunday, June 14th

Welcome to beautiful Bergen! After gathering as a group at the airport, we’ll make your way to our comfortable hotel near the historic harbor and take some time to unpack, relax, or enjoy a short stroll along the waterfront at your leisure. As evening falls, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner, getting to know our fellow travelers while sampling local flavors and setting the stage for the Scandinavian journey ahead.

Day 2 - Bergen Walking Tour & Cable Car - Monday, June 15th

We begin our first full day in Bergen with a guided walking tour through its historic streets and along the harbor. We’ll wander past the colorful wooden warehouses, learn about the city’s Hanseatic past, and take in the lively atmosphere of the waterfront. Later, enjoy a funicular ride up into the surrounding hills for sweeping views over the city, fjord, and islands beyond. After returning to the center, enjoy free time to explore on your own, linger in a café, or browse local shops concluding a leisurly start to what’s sure to be a great tour.

Day 3 - Norway’s Fjord Landscapes - Tuesday, June 16th

Traveling inland from Bergen and the coast, we set out on one of Norway’s classic scenic journeys as we make our way toward the mountain town of Hemsedal via Flam. Our route will pass through the country’s most beautiful fjord scenery, with time to enjoy dramatic valleys, tumbling waterfalls, and tranquil waters along the way. Arriving in Gudvangen we will visit the Viking Valley village and enjoy lunch with stunning scenery. Afterwards, we will board ship for a cruise through Norway’s longest and deepest fjord to Flam. We then continue over the mountains and arrive in Hemsedal, where you’ll settle into our comfortable hotel, enjoying the fresh mountain air before the next stage of our Scandinavian adventure.

Day 4 - Norwegian Culture & Craftsmanship - Wednesday, June 17th

From Hemsedal, we begin our journey south toward Oslo, following a scenic route through valleys, forests, and small Norwegian towns. Along the way, we’ll pause at a traditional open-air museum, historic wooden churches, charming village centers, all spaces set in beautiful natural surroundings with plenty of scenic stops. A higlight is sure to be the Kistefos Museum with its intriguing twist design. By late afternoon, we’ll be pulling into Norway’s capital of Oslo to settle into our hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 5 - Oslo Walking Tour and Cultural Highlights - Thursday, June 18th

Begin your day with a guided morning walking tour of Oslo, led by a local expert who brings the city’s rich history to life, from its Viking roots to its modern Scandinavian character. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace, whether that means taking a scenic harbor cruise, visiting the fascinating Fram or Kon-Tiki museums, admiring masterpieces at the Munch Museum, or learning more about global peace efforts at the Nobel Peace Center. For those seeking something more adventurous, a sauna experience on the Oslo Fjord offers the chance to relax like a local and even brave an invigorating cold plunge in the fjord’s refreshing waters.

Day 6 - Glassworks and Midsommar Festival - Friday, June 19th

Today’s journey offers a wonderful blend of craftsmanship, tradition, and scenic beauty as you visit the renowned Magnor Glassworks to see skilled artisans create exquisite glass pieces using techniques passed down through generations. Continue on to a local Midsommar festival experience, immersing yourself in one of Scandinavia’s most cherished celebrations and enjoy this vibrant cultural tradition held near the summer solstice. Later, travel onward to the lively town of Karlstad, beautifully set along the Klarälven River, where the day concludes amid charming waterfront scenery and a welcoming Swedish atmosphere.

Day 7 - Örebro, Västerås & Anundshög - Saturday, June 20th

Depart Karlstad this morning and travel east through the heart of Sweden, stopping in Örebro to admire its scenic medieval castle, beautifully set on the river in the center of town. Continue onward to Västerås for a relaxing lakeside lunch, with time to enjoy the peaceful waterfront setting before visiting Anundshög, one of Sweden’s most significant ancient burial sites, where history and legend come together in a remarkable cultural landscape. Later, arrive in Stockholm, Sweden’s elegant capital, ready to begin exploring this vibrant city spread across its many islands.

Day 8 - Stockholm Harbor and the Vasa Museum - Sunday, June 21st

Start the day with a scenic walk through Stockholm, taking in the beauty of this elegant city spread across its islands and waterways, before boarding a boat to cruise the picturesque Stockholm harbor for a wonderful perspective of the capital from the water. Afterwards, visit the remarkable Vasa Museum to see its perfectly preserved 17th-century warship, one of Sweden’s most extraordinary historic treasures. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure, whether you choose to explore Skansen, visit one of Stockholm’s many outstanding museums, or simply wander the city’s vibrant streets, soaking up its lively atmosphere, charming architecture, and waterfront views.

Day 9 - Scenic South of Sweden - Monday, June 22nd

Leaving Stockholm, we travel through the Swedish countryside to the charming coastal town of Trosa, before continuing to Löfstad Castle for lunch in elegant historic surroundings. In the afternoon, we visit Gränna, famous for its traditional candy canes and picturesque village charm, then continue to Jönköping for an overnight stay in our lakeside accommodations.

Day 10 - Ikea Museum & Moose Safari - Tuesday, June 23rd

Today’s journey combines iconic Swedish design with unforgettable Nordic nature as you visit the IKEA Museum for a fascinating look at the story, innovation, and cultural impact behind one of Sweden’s most famous brands. Continue on to Smålandet for an exciting moose safari, where you can experience the thrill of seeing these majestic animals in their natural surroundings, followed by lunch. Later, travel south and cross the impressive bridge into Copenhagen, Denmark, arriving in one of Scandinavia’s most vibrant and welcoming capitals.

Day 11 - Copenhagen & Farewell Dinner - Wendesday, June 24th

Discover the beauty of Copenhagen on foot, enjoying a guided walking tour through its historic streets, elegant squares and colourful harbourfront. Following our orientation, we’ll have some time to soak up the city’s café culture and perhaps pick up a few last souvenirs. In the evening, we come together one last time for a special farewell dinner, sharing stories and highlights from our journey across Scandinavia. For those joining us on the Iceland add-on, the adventure continues as you prepare to travel on toward dramatic landscapes and new experiences, while the rest of the group bids farewell and departs for home the following day.

Day 12 - Departure Day OR Iceland Add-On - Thursday, June 25th

After a leisurely breakfast, our tour concludes with transportation to Copenhagen’s international airport.

Optional Iceland Add-On

June 25th - 28th, 2026

Extend your adventure with an optional three-night add-on to Iceland, based in vibrant Reykjavík. Enjoy a guided introduction to the capital’s colorful streets, harbor views, and landmark sights, with free time to explore at your own pace. Consider a visit to the Blue Lagoon for some scenic relaxation or maybe a whale and puffin express cruise The next day, we travel along the dramatic southern coast to experience black-sand beaches, towering sea cliffs, and some of Iceland’s most impressive waterfalls before returning to the city for the night. Our final full day is devoted to the famed Golden Circle, linking geysers, rift valleys, and the thundering Gullfoss waterfall, offering a memorable glimpse into the island’s volcanic power and wild beauty. As our add-on comes to a close, we will have sampled some of Iceland’s most iconic landscapes before continuing the journey home.
