Day One - Arrival Day and Sorrento Welcome Dinner - September 18th

Benvenuti a Italia! Hello and welcome to Italy where your Bavaria & Beyond vacation begins! Upon arriving at the Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, your Bavaria & Beyond guides will be waiting to greet you.

We will then transfer to the seaside town of Sorrento. Enjoy an all-inclusive meal with delicious Italian delicacies and of course, a well paired glass of Vino de Italia! During the reception all the necessary information will be distributed to ensure a smooth start to your Bavaria & Beyond vacation!

Day Two - Island of Capri - September 19th

Enjoy a scenic boat cruise from Sorrento to the beautiful Island of Capri. The trip will take us around the whole island where we will get beautiful views of towering cliffs, turquoise blue waters and historic seaside villages. After our boat tour, there will be an excursion onto the island itself where there will be plenty of time to peruse the shops and have a delicious lunch. Upon returning to Sorrento, you will have free time dinner and to explore the lively streets.

Day Three - Pompeii Ruins - September 20th

Take a trip back in time and visit one of the world's most renowned archaeological sites on this day’s excursion to Pompeii. In 79 AD, the once-thriving city fell victim to a nearby volcano eruption encasing the city and its residents in a layer of lava. Today we will embark on a guided tour of the ruins including visits to a gladiators gym, the town Forum, baths, and many other sites making up this historic city. After our visit we will continue on to our centrally located accommodations in Rome.

Day Four - Rome Free Day - September 21st

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the centrally located Grand Hotel Palatino before heading out and exploring Rome at your own pace. This additional free day in Rome is perfect for guests who want to make the most of their time in the Eternal City. In the evening there will be a dinner welcoming the rest of the guests arriving for the main Rome to Munich Tour.
