Our Bavaria & Beyond vacation is slowly drawing to a close. Relax and visit your favorite local cafe while taking in the alpine beauty of Garmisch-Partenkirchen one last time. In the evening, enjoy the last event of your Bavaria and Beyond vacation - the Farewell Dinner Reception. Enjoy an exquisite meal as we reflect on the memories that will last a lifetime. A custom video, highlighting the best of your Bavaria & Beyond vacation, will premier at the start of this special evening. Embrace the terrific friendships which were made, while reminiscing on your time in Bavaria & Beyond!

The many markets of Munich become even more magical when the sun goes down and the city's decorative lights illuminate the market squares. The scent of almonds roasting and carolers singing fill the air. Enjoy the romantic beauty of Munich's enchanting markets by night!

Just a short ride south through the Wetterstein and Karwendel mountains sits the stunning Inn River Valley. With its towering mountain peaks, the scenery here is sure to impress. Tucked away in this alpine landscape is Schloss Ambras. This magnificent palace, perched on a hilltop overlooking Innsbruck, was once home medieval knights and royalty. Our next stop of the day will be the Innsbruck Christmas Market. Take in the city's beautiful architecture while perusing through its quaint side streets surrounding the market square.

Marvel in the breathtaking alpine scenery on the Bad Tölz and Bavarian Countryside Tour. Make sure to have your cameras ready for the drive along the crystal clear waters of the Walchensee and Kochelsee lakes. Arrive in Bad Tölz and peruse the unique handcrafted items at their traditional christmas market. 

On this day's tour we will say ‘Aufwiedersehen’ to our Bavarian Island home of Lindau and make our way to beautiful Garmisch-Partenkirchen; nestled away in the heart of the Bavarian Alps. During our journey, we will travel along the famous Romantic Road while taking in the many breath-taking views. Along the way we will discover the romantic towns of Fuessen and Oberammergau (with a Neuschwanstein Castle photo stop).

Wake up to the beautiful views of the Bodensee Lake and the Lindau Harbor.  Enjoy a
walking tour of the medieval island and learn its fascinating history. Afterwards depart on a leisurely boat tour, crossing into Swiss and Austrian waters while gaining a new perspective of your island home. Spend the evening perusing the quaint Christmas Market stalls surrounding the harbor, join in on an optional tour to the Zeppelin museum in nearby Fredrichshafen, or take our private bus for an evening visit to a christmas market in the tiny country of Liechtenstein.

Travel through the Black Forest region making a stop at an authentic Cuckoo Clock Shop. Then cross the French border to the picturesque town of Colmar. Experience the delightful customs of a traditional French Christmas Market with colorful half-timbered homes as the backdrop.

Enjoy a wonderful day traveling around one of Europe's most scenic lakes! We will start our day heading into Switzerland to discover the mighty power and elegant beauty of the Rhein Falls. After a lunch break in a cozy Swiss village, it's off to St. Gallen. Here we will explore the festive Swiss Christmas Market, before heading back to Lindau.

Grüss Gott (hello in the local Bavarian dialect) and welcome to the start of your Bavaria & Beyond vacation! Upon arriving at the Munich International Airport, your Bavaria & Beyond guides will be waiting to greet you. Enjoy a complimentary beverage and mingle with your fellow travelers as our group assembles at the designated airport "Treffpunkt" or meeting point. Once the group is completely gathered, we will pack up and depart for the beautiful lakeside town of Lindau via a private coach bus. Our "express check-in" process will ensure that you quickly and comfortably settle-in to your new Bavarian "home-away-from-home". After a short break to relax and unpack, a Welcome Reception will be hosted. Enjoy an all-inclusive meal with delicious local delicacies and of course, Bavarian Bier! During the reception all the necessary information will be distributed to ensure a smooth start to your Bavaria & Beyond vacation!
