A stone’s throw away from Budapest sits the Slovakian capital city of Bratislava. Once a post-war city of ruins, resting on the frontier of the Soviet Union, Bratislava is now a bright and energetic city attracting visitors from around the globe. During our visit we will learn more about the Statue City’s intriguing history while exploring the Old Town. From napoleonic soldiers to communist-era workers (who aren’t actually working), statues scattered about the city share both historical and satirical stories commenting on the Bratislava's past.
