Day 1 - Arrival Day and Welcome Reception - Thursday, September 18th

Welcome to the stunning city of Dubrovnik and beautiful Croatia! Upon your arrival at Dubrovnik Airport, we’ll gather as a group before a short drive brings us to our luxurious waterfront accomodations along the croatian coast.. After you’ve had time to unpack and settle in, we’ll gather for our Welcome Dinner reception kicking off what’s sure to be an unforgettable trip!

Day 2 - Dubrovnik City Tour - Friday, September 19th

From the luxurious Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel, the first outing of our trip brings us to the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arriving at the Old Town, the charming cobblestone streets and past iconic landmarks inside the ancient city walls which have stood for centuries. Following a tour of town, enjoy a stroll along the famous Stradun promenade, where you'll have the opportunity to explore quaint shops and cafés before returning to your seaside retreat at the Sheraton.

Day 3 - Kotor Bay, Montenegro - Saturday, September 20th

Traveling from Dubrovnik, we make our way along the stunning Adriatic coastline, offering panoramic views of the shimmering sea and dramatic cliffs enroute Kotor Bay in Montenegro. Here, we'll explore the medieval town of Kotor, known for its well-preserved city walls, winding alleyways, and serene bay, with its picturesque fjord-like landscape and mountain backdrop. After exploring, enjoy a leisurely lunch by the water before heading back to Dubrovnik, with plenty of photo opportunities along the scenic drive.

Day 4 - Mostar - Sunday, September 21st

Departing Dubrovnik, we begin our journey north toward spli Split, enjoying a scenic journey through the beautiful countryside. Enroute, we’ve included what is sure to be a memorable stop in the historic town of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Famous for its iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), Mostar offers a fascinating blend of Ottoman and Balkan architecture. Stroll through the charming cobbled streets of the Old Town, explore the local markets, and learn about the town's rich cultural history. Visit the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque for panoramic views of the town and river before continuing on your drive along the Dalmatian coast, arriving in Split ready to explore its vibrant waterfront during our three-night stay.

Day 5 - Split Island Tour - Monday, September 22nd

To kick-off our first full day in Split, we’ll embark on a fascinating 2-hour orientation tour of the city’s Old Town district including the iconic Diocletian's Palace; one of the best-preserved Roman palaces in the world. After the tour, enjoy free time to explore on your own—relax at one of the cafés along the bustling Riva promenade, browse the local markets for souvenirs, or take a short walk to the nearby Marjan Hill for stunning views of the city and the Adriatic Sea.

Day 6 - Hvar Island Tour - Tuesday, September 23rd

Departing the Dalmatian coast we travel to the stunning island of Hvar as we sail along the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. Known for its lavender fields, historic architecture, and vibrant atmosphere, we’ll spend the day exploring the island surrounded by panoramic views. During your free time, enjoy a stroll along the picturesque waterfront and leisurely lunch. After soaking in the island’s laid-back charm and scenic beauty, return to Split by boat in the late afternoon, reflecting on a perfect day of island exploration.

Day 7 - Zadar - Wednesday, September 24th

Departing Split for Opatija, enjoy a captivating day trip to the historic city of Zadar, a coastal gem known for its blend of ancient and modern attractions. Upon arrival, our local guide will lead us through Zadar's Old Town, where we explore Roman-era streets and admire landmarks such as the Roman Forum, the Church of St. Donatus, and the imposing city walls. Following the guided portion of our day, be sure to take a walk along the waterfront promenade stopping by the unique Sea Organ, a musical instrument played by the sea’s waves. Following some free time, we continue our scenic drive up the coast to the elegant seaside town of Opatija.

Day 8 - Plitvice National Park (walking required) - Thursday, September 25th

The stunning landscapes of Plitvice Lakes National Park await as we travel to one of Croatia’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Arriving at the park, we’re be greeted by a mesmerizing landscape of cascading waterfalls, lush greenery, and 16 interconnected turquoise lakes. During our guided, we’ll make our way along wooden pathways winding through the park's serene forests with close-up views of the crystal-clear waters, vibrant wildlife, and the beauty of the Veliki Slap, the park's tallest waterfall. Please note that this outing involves a fair amount of walking. Following our outing to the tranquil Plitvice Lakes, we return to Opatija.

Day 9 - Rovinj & Pula - Friday, September 26th

Exploring the Istrian Peninsula, we visit the picturesque coastal towns of Rovinj and Pula. During our visit to Rovinj, we’ll discover a charming fishing town known for its narrow cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and vibrant waterfront. Continuing on to Pula, our first stop will be at the city’s remarkably well preserved Roman amphitheater Arena, where to explore its impressive structure and learn about its fascinating history. From there, we’ll have some time to wander the ancient streets and admire the Roman Temple of Augustus before returning to Opatija for a final nights stay.

Day 10 - Trieste & Venice - Saturday, September 27th

Traveling along the Gulf of Trieste, our first stop of the day is the gulfs namasake where a vibrant city awaits with stunning architecture along a scenic canal. After soaking in the coastal charm of Trieste, our italian adventure continues bringing us to Venice for an afternooon spent exloring its canals, bridges, and unique atmosphere. After visiting iconic landmarks such as St. Mark's Basilica and the Rialto Bridge, and perhaps a leisurely gondola ride through the serene waterways, our day draws to a close along the picturesque shores of Lake Garda, where we settle in surrounded by mountains towering mountains and lakeside views.

Day 11 - Sirmione & Lazise - Sunday, September 28th

A delightful day along the scenic shores of Lake Garda awaits! Beginning in Bardolino, we’ll travel to the charming peninsula town of Sirmione, where a local guide will lead us on a tour of this luxurious destination and its ancient Roman ruins. After some free time to explore on your own, we’ll continue to Lazise, known for its beautiful lakeside promenade and historic medieval architecture. Following a quick stop for delicious gelato, our journey will come full circle as we return to Bardolino, filled with memories of the stunning sights and rich history of Lake Garda.

Day 12 - Milan - Monday, September 29th

Home to some of Leonardo da Vinci's most significant works, most notably The Last Supper, and the magnificent Duomo di Milano, a visit to Milan is always memorable. During our outing, we’ll learn more of the quintessential Renaissance artist and Milan’s storied past. Following a tour of the Old Town, we’ll gather for a “Farewell Luncheon” allowing us to look back on memories made over the past days. After indulging in some local cuisine, we’ll say arrivederci to guests on the main tour as they settle in to accommodations in the heart of Milan for a single-nights stay. Meanwhile, those participating in the Oktoberfest add-on will enjoy one last evening along the shores of Bardolino before traveling onward to Garmisch-Partenkirchen the next day.

Day 13 - Airport Transfer OR Oktobefest Add-On Start - Tuesday, September 30th

All good things must come to an end, and the main portion of the tour conveniently concludes with a transfer to Milan’s Malpensa AirportAirport. For those joining us on the Oktoberfest add-on, the adventure continues as we travel north crossing the scenic alps with some delightful stops along the way. Arriving in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, we settle in for a 3-nights stay to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Alps while immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere of Oktoberfest. Learn more about the optional Oktoberfest Add-On below.

Our optional Oktoberfest Add-On has been designed to extend the excitement and bring guests from Milan across the alps to the beautiful town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Consider that the flight costs remain the same regardless of how long you stay, why not visit a little longer?

During a scenic drive through the stunning mountain landscapes, we’ll make stops at some several destinations enroute to Garmisch-Partenkirchen where guests can settle in for a comfortable 3-nights stay. Our first full day in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is spent with a trip to Munich for the world-famous Oktoberfest. During our visit to the world’s largest Volksfestival, we’ll enjoy premium reserved seating, a traditional Bavarian meal, and all the beer you’d like duringas we enjoy the festive atmosphere. The following day, the adventure slowly concludes with a free day to explore the quaint town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and it’s surrounding mountains before transfering to the Munich International Airport the next day.
