Upon arrival at the Munich International Airport you will be greeted to Bavaria and enjoy the convenience of private transportation to your overnight accommodations in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Enjoy a leisurely start your Bavaria & Beyond Christmas Market Tour as you settle in to your comfortable accommodations at the Hotel Rheinischer Hof.

December 6th - Innsbruck Ski Jump Tour and Christmas Market

A visit to the Innsbruck Ski Stadium promises an exhilarating experience as we explore the iconic world of ski jumping. Our tour will be guided by a skilled ski jumper and offers valuable insights into this thrilling sport's history along with the meticulous preparation it entails. After an engaging tour, we'll indulge in a panoramic lunch at a restaurant perched on top of the ski jump, where the views of the snow-covered landscape make our meal truly memorable. Later, we'll venture into the charming old town of Innsbruck with its picturesque streets, historic architecture and festive Christmas Markets. This day is a perfect blend of adrenaline, culture, and holiday cheer in the heart of the Austrian Alps.

December 7th - Garmisch-Partenkirchen Christmas

Enjoy a relaxing day in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with the perfect blend of freedom and scenic splendor. The morning is yours to explore our favorite Bavarian town at your own pace, visiting favorite sites or simply strolling through the charming streets and taking in the scenic beauty of the surrounding Alps. In the late afternoon, we will come together for a visit to a traditional Bavarian Restaurant for an included Dinner Reception.

December 8th - Austrian Alps Christmas

Our day takes us on an awe-inspiring journey through the breathtaking Austrian Alps, as we depart from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and traverse the scenic Fern Pass. Amidst snow-capped peaks and pristine alpine landscapes, we arrive at the charming town of Bludenz, where we are greeted by the enchanting Bludenzer Christmas Market. We continue on through the mountains to the town of Feldkirch, where we gather for a delightful lunch inside the historic Schattenburg Castle. Following our delicious meal in the castle restaurant, we embark on an illuminating tour of the castle's chambers. As the sun begins to set, our journey continues to our lakeside accommodations nestled on the tranquil shores of Lake Constance.

December 9th - Lindau Island Christmas

Wake up on the shores of beautiful Lake Constance. Just steps outside the Hotel Reuteman lies the festive harbor Christmas Market, immediately immersing you in the Christmas spirit. The day unfolds at your leisure, with a delightful array of choices to spend your day. An optional morning walking tour provides insights into the town's history and captivating sights. In the afternoon, your choices continue with the opportunity to visit the intriguing Zeppelin Museum, offering a glimpse into the history of air travel. Another option is to set sail across Lake Constance to the Bregenz Christmas Market, a delightful excursion to experience the holiday magic from a different perspective. This leisurely day ensures you can tailor your experience to your own desires, either delving into history, embracing the lake's beauty, or just recharging with the atmosphere of the Christmas market right at your doorstep.

December 10th - Swiss Chocolate Tasting and Konstanz Christmas

Our day commences with a tasty visit to a Swiss chocolate manufacturer, immersing ourselves in the art of crafting delectable chocolates. After satisfying our sweet tooth, enjoy a leisurely lunch in the tranquil Swiss countryside. From there we cross the border back into Germany and make our way to the charming town of Konstanz. There, we dive into the festive ambiance of the Konstanz Christmas Market before heading back to our lakeside accommodations in Lindau.

December 11th - Swiss Cheese Tasting and Lucerne Christmas

Continuing our exploration of Swiss delicacies, today we delve into the world of cheese, the other famed treasure of this alpine nation. We begin the day with a visit to a Swiss cheese manufacturer. Witness the artistry behind crafting Swiss cheese and savor the unique flavors that have made this nation renowned for its dairy. After a savory and satisfying lunch, we make our way to the picturesque town of Lucerne, nestled against the stunning backdrop of the Swiss Alps. In Lucerne, we'll walk across the Chapel Bridge and visit the Lion Monument with free time to explore the Old Town and Christmas Market. Our day ends at our mountainside accommodations above Interlaken.

December 12th - The Jungfrau & Swiss Alps

Our tour to Schilthornbahn Cable Car offers a breathtaking journey through the Swiss Alps, where the majestic views of the Jungfrau and Eiger peaks unfold before our eyes, creating a landscape of unparalleled beauty. We'll learn about the fascinating history of the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service '' being filmed at this iconic location. Following our awe-inspiring mountain adventure, we'll relish a delightful lunch in the heart of the Alps. As our day continues, we'll pass through the charming villages of Lauterbrunnen, Gimmelwald, and Murren, each nestled in the stunning alpine surroundings. December 14th - Swiss Alpine Horn Workshop & Thun

Our tour day begins with a visit to the Bernatone Alpine Horn workshop, a place where the sounds of the iconic Swiss Alpine horn come to life. As we marvel in the craftsmanship and tradition of this quintessential Swiss instrument, we gain a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of the region. December 15th - Zurich and Farewell Dinner

We begin our day with an exploration of Swiss military defenses, uncovering the ingenious strategies that have safeguarded Switzerland's sovereignty. After this enlightening experience, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant city of Zurich. After an orientation of the city, enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. You can wander through the bustling markets that line Zurich's streets, including the iconic Bahnhof Market, where culinary treasures and artisanal crafts await. As the day turns to evening, we gather for a grand farewell dinner celebration, savoring Swiss cuisine and sharing stories of our journey. Our conveniently located accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport, provides a seamless conclusion to our adventure, ensuring a relaxing and convenient departure from this enchanting Swiss city the next morning.

December 16th - Departure Day
