Day 1 - Arrival Day and Welcome Dinner Reception - May 14th, 2022

Benvenuti! Hello and welcome to Italy where your Bavaria & Beyond vacation begins! Upon arriving at the Naples International Airport, your Bavaria & Beyond guides will be waiting to greet you.

After a short drive to the Amalfi Coast, we will arrive at our accommodations located above the seaside town of Sorrento. There you will be able to unpack, relax and enjoy the sea views before the Welcome Dinner Reception. Enjoy an all-inclusive meal with delicious Italian delicacies and of course, a well paired glass of Vino de Italia! During the reception all the necessary information will be distributed to ensure a smooth start to your Bavaria & Beyond vacation!

Day 2 - Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast - May 15th, 2022

The Amalfi Coast is one of the most breathtaking scenic regions in Italy. It has a long history of being the summer retreat of Roman Emperors and the Italian Aristocracy. Enjoy visiting the picturesque seaside villages and take in the mountain vistas as we explore this stunning peninsula. This is the perfect way to start your Bavaria & Beyond vacation.

Day 3 - Pompeii Archeological Tour - May 16th, 2022

Take a trip back in time and visit one of the world's most renowned archaeological sites on our excursion to Pompeii. In 79 AD, the once-thriving city fell victim to a nearby volcano eruption encasing the city and its residents in a layer of lava. Today we will embark on a guided tour of the ruins, including visits to a gladiators gym, the town Forum, baths, and many other sites making up this historic city.

Day 4 - Free Day in the Eternal City - May 17th, 2022

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the centrally located Grand Hotel Palatino before heading out and exploring Rome at your own pace. This additional free day in Rome is perfect for guests who want to make the most of their time in the Eternal City. In the evening there will be a dinner welcoming the rest of the guests arriving for the main Rome to Munich Tour.
